Holoindustry took the ThermalGlass Mask to INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hannover, the world's leading trade fair for the fire and rescue industry. From 1 to 6 June, the team met firefighters, rescue professionals and technology partners from across the globe at its stand in Hall 015.
This was a major outing for Holoindustry. The company travelled to Hannover with a large team and its full leadership, and built a dedicated stand to show its technology hands-on. Across the six days, the stand drew a steady stream of visitors who came to see the products up close and try them for themselves.
The ThermalGlass Mask was the centrepiece. As a fire and rescue event, INTERSCHUTZ was the right place to put the thermal XR mask in front of the people it is built for. Alongside it, the team showed the rest of the Holoindustry product line, including the ThermalGlass Explorer and the Fused Vision™ technology that powers them, giving visitors a full view of what the company is building for critical environments.
The response on the floor was strong. Visitors came from some of the world's leading fire and rescue organisations, and the exchanges at the stand went well beyond a quick look at the hardware. Serious professional conversations developed around real operational needs, and many of them are continuing after the event. For Holoindustry, that follow-through is the clearest sign that INTERSCHUTZ was the right place to introduce the Mask to the European market.
Outside the stand, the ThermalGlass Mask also made an appearance at the Mayday Rescue Challenge (MaReC), a training activity run by TFA Team Hamburg that recreated a real fire incident in dense smoke, where loss of vision takes away a firefighter's orientation. Real firefighters tried the Mask in the scenario and saw through the smoke to move, orient and work. As one of them put it: "I want to test it in so many situations: real smoke, real fire, real people."
The ThermalGlass Mask is Holoindustry's thermal XR mask, powered by Fused Vision™, built to help firefighters and frontline crews see through smoke and work safely when visibility is gone. INTERSCHUTZ 2026 was a chance to bring it to the global fire service community, and the interest at the stand confirmed how much it is needed.
