
The Hungarian subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group, Cloud Network Technology Kft., has received the 33rd Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize for its TestHall AR System, which was developed as an industrial augmented reality solution with the professional contribution of Holoindustry. The award recognises outstanding innovations that deliver proven business impact, efficiency gains and long-term competitiveness.
The Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize, organised by the Hungarian Innovation Association, is one of the country’s most prestigious innovation awards. It is presented annually to organisations whose developments demonstrate measurable economic value, technological advancement and successful real-world implementation.
Winning projects are assessed by an independent jury of recognised scientists and industry experts, with a strong emphasis on business relevance, scalability and tangible results. In 2025, the jury selected Cloud Network Technology Kft.’s TestHall AR System as the most outstanding innovation of the year.

The TestHall AR System is an industrial augmented reality solution supporting the testing of server racks in a live production environment. Using Microsoft HoloLens 2 devices, the system overlays real-time testing data, status indicators and workflow guidance directly onto physical server racks inside the test hall.
This approach enables technicians and engineers to monitor and interact with testing processes without relying on external monitors or manual checks.The system reduced testing time to less than one-seventh of the previous duration, while significantly improving throughput and workforce efficiency.
Holoindustry was responsible for the AR visualisation design, user interface implementation and ongoing development support of the TestHall AR System. Working closely with Cloud Network Technology Kft.’s internal engineering teams, Holoindustry translated complex testing and monitoring data into clear, spatially accurate augmented reality visualisations optimised for industrial use.
The solution was designed to function reliably in a live production environment, supporting real-time decision-making and immediate intervention when required. Holoindustry’s contribution ensured that the AR experience remained intuitive, scalable and closely aligned with operational workflows, which played a decisive role in the system’s successful adoption and its recognition by the Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize jury.
