What is ThermalGlass Explorer?

ThermalGlass Explorer is a hands-free, see-through thermal imaging wearable: XR smart glasses that overlay real-time thermal heatmaps onto your natural field of view using Fused Vision™. It is designed for industrial field use, so operators can detect thermal anomalies without breaking focus from the task.

How much does ThermalGlass Explorer weigh?

ThermalGlass Explorer weighs 200 grams (7.1 ounces), about the weight of a smartphone. The thermal camera, display, and electronics are built into the glasses themselves, so there is no separate handheld unit to carry.

What can it detect, and in what temperature range?

ThermalGlass Explorer detects heat from -40°C to 330°C with a 240 x 320 thermal camera running at up to 27 Hz. It is built to surface thermal anomalies and hot spots in real time, on electrical, mechanical, and process equipment.

How is it different from a handheld thermal camera?

A handheld thermal camera replaces what you see and ties up a hand. Explorer adds the thermal layer to your real-world view through a see-through display, so you keep depth perception, situational awareness, and both hands.

Can I use it in bright daylight?

Yes. The see-through display runs at over 2000 nits, with manual or automatic brightness control, and ships with three visors (neutral, photochromic, tinted) for different light conditions.

Can I wear it if I need prescription glasses?

Yes. Prescription inserts are available as an option.

Does it connect to other systems or an app?

ThermalGlass Explorer has 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and works with a companion application for settings, alerts, streaming, and recording.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 2 hours on a 2 x 500 mAh battery, charged over USB 3.0 Type-C.
