Find your way through a building instead of feeling along the wall one step at a time. In dense smoke, ThermalGlass Mask makes your surroundings visible again, so you move with intent rather than inching forward blind.

Only the controls you need.

No menus to dig through mid-job. Three large buttons you can press with gloves on cover the controls that matter, and nothing clutters the display or gets in your way.

Automatic brightness.

Too wide a dynamic range burns your eyes; too narrow and you lose information. A built-in light sensor and control algorithm balance the thermal image, so you keep detail without the glare.

Real alignment.

What you see is where it is. ThermalGlass Mask uses true optical alignment, so the thermal overlay sits exactly on the object giving off the heat, not offset beside it the way other thermal cameras are. This is a core advantage over a conventional thermal camera.

What is ThermalGlass Mask?

ThermalGlass Mask is a hands-free, binocular thermal imaging display for firefighters and emergency responders. It adds a real-time thermal layer to the real-world view through both eyes using Fused Vision™, so responders can see their surroundings and hold their orientation in dense smoke.

Does it work in zero visibility and dense smoke?

Yes. In dense smoke, ThermalGlass Mask makes your surroundings visible again, so you can see the space around you and find your way through the building. The binocular display keeps depth and orientation, so you hold your sense of direction and distance when you cannot see by eye. Does it replace my handheld thermal imaging camera?

It removes the need to carry and raise one during the task. A handheld camera takes a hand and pulls your eyes down. ThermalGlass Mask keeps thermal in your field of view, hands-free, so you stay oriented and keep working. And because the display sits inside the mask, it stays clean.

What happens if the display fails or is switched off?

You keep your natural view. The display is see-through, so the thermal layer is added to what you already see, never in place of it. With the thermal layer off, you see the scene exactly as you would without the device. ThermalGlass Mask supports your training and senses; it does not replace them.

How hot can it see?

The thermal camera resolves heat across two gain modes, up to 550°C (932°F), with 30 mK sensitivity and a 640 x 512 sensor at 60 Hz.

How long does the battery last?

90 minutes.

Can I use it with prescription glasses?

Yes. Prescription inserts are available as an option.
